This gym has all positive vibes and knock that awkward feeling right out the door. I will be honest, I've always kept to myself and I was too shy to go to the gym. I was used to personal training. Plus the normal group classes at other gyms were just a lot of ppl and instructors come to just teach. On my first day, Ian came and said hi to me and remembered my name. It just is stunning how friendly everyone is.
I started here with the 6 week challenge. My fellow lady challengers were all friendly and it's a nice feeling. It's like everyone knows everyone. I also was happy to see familiar faces instead of random ppl all the time at group classes.
The gym is not like the huge gyms where ppl just go to work out and leave. It's like a community of its own. They don't really have showers or water fountains. Don't forget your water!!! You really really really REALLY need it!
Their group classes contain a wide spectrum. Anywhere from weightlifting, boxing, Bulgarian bags, conditioning and more! I've never been to group classes like these before.
If you're skeptical at first, don't be! You'll feel right at home here.
