| - Went here for a birthday brunch this afternoon. We were seated right away, probably because we missed the peak brunch hours. The waitress was off in lala land even when taking orders. Our drinks took about 20 min to come. I ordered the fully loaded waffles - potato waffles, sour cream, cheese bacon and chives. It was amazing!! It was like eating a baked potato. It comes with your choice of potato salad, fruit or baked beans. I choice the fruit it was a good selection not just a few dinky grapes and some berries. My only complaint was the mixed green salad, the dressing tasted like dirt.
My mom and dad had the tex me sandwich both said they enjoyed it, and it had a nice little tingle on the tongue in terms of heat. My dad got the baked beans and he said they were actually pretty good.
My boyfriend ventured for the Sammy Benny which at his first bite was ohhhing and ahhhing.
The service however, as I mentioned was off in nowheresville, the server was so slow, we waited about 30 min for our bill and eventually had to ask another server which was clearing tables for our cheque. Why do you ask? Because our server was sitting down eating her lunch with a co worker chatting. Overall the food is pretty epic but the service needs work. Also a little makeover would help as the place is a dive but that is no reason not to go. 4 stars for the food, 2 for the service, 3 overall.
