Unfortunately because of my last experience at this Home Depot, it motivated me to write a review. The past couple months after visiting this specific Home Depot have been disappointing. After searching the store to finally find someone to help, every one has either had lack of knowledge on the topic of what I would call pretty standard "to do" projects or they seemed incredibly annoyed that I was even asking a question and I had to pry to try to get the answer I wanted or leave without getting what I wanted because no one was there to help. About 2 years ago, Home Depot stepped up there customer service and it was great, but it has gone down hill since then. I'm not asking for above and beyond but a simple smile or "I'm sorry" for not knowing anything or trying to find someone who does would go a long way.
Last night I went in wanting and ready to buy custom order wood blinds. I had all of my dimensions and specifics of what I wanted. One representative did not know anything about blinds but called his supervisor, fair enough, but then that process took an hour, fine. He gave us a price and said the 20% discount would be taken off at customer service where they would scan a barcode coupon. We head to customer service where we were told there was no coupon and it had to be built into the quote. After waiting 40 min and receiving attitude from the customer service rep, we were told the price given to us in the blind department was not accurate and the price was significantly higher. There was no apologies for waiting so long or that we were quoted the wrong price, no suggestion to help fix the situation or come up with another solution, just excuses that people were "new". The customer service I have received is inexcusable and I will not be going to this home depot anymore.
