| - This place was good, but inconsistent. Went on Wednesday night with a party of 7, at 730. We had resos, but the place wasn't busy. Still, make a reservation just in case. Anyways I will list everything I tried by course. So here it goes:
Appetizers
Crab cakes- I didn't care for these. There wasn't much crab in them at all. Only 2 come in an order.
Bacon wrapped shrimp - the bacon was burnt! I like crispy bacon, but it was black. The shrimp were large but the burnt bacon ruined it.
Calamari - the best app in my opinion. Came with a marinara sauce for dipping.
Salad
Chopped salad- this has bacon, gorgonzola, avocado, and it was tossed in a blue cheesey dressing. It was good!
Caesar- standard Caesar. Came with some kind of fried cheese on the side that was deelicious!
Spinach - not good. It had beets on it and a weird dressing.
Entrées
King crab legs - I love crab. These were split open for easy eating. They came with melted butter, which was unfortunately cold.
Ribeye- my favorite part of the meal. Absolutely delicious.
Lobster tail- second favorite part of the meal. The lobster was sweet and buttery. It melted in my mouth. I usually don't care for lobster, but this changed my opinion on it. Would definitely order again
Filet mignon - pretty good. I still think my ribeye was better.
Sides
Creamed spinach - delicious and cheesey
Asparagus - cooked in butter. Pretty good
Sautéed mushrooms - tasted great with my steak
Sauces
Peppercorn - I didn't like this at all
Bernaise - tasty and complemented the steak well
Dessert
Creme Brulee- this was good, but nothing special
All in all it was a good meal, but many of our items were inconsistent. Like the burnt bacon wrapped shrimp. My grandma's NY steak was ice cold and had to be reheated. The Creamed spinach although tasty, wasn't hot enough. The melted butter was cold. For the price we were paying, there shouldn't have been as many mistakes as there was.
