  • I had heard so many rave reviews about Omnivore over the past few years and it certainly did not disappoint. I went two times in as many days because the food was just so tasty and affordable. The restaurant is tiny but with a lovely earthy ambiance, and again - the food!!!!! On my first visit, I split a 5x mezze with my friend. The falafel was a bit dry but the hummus made up for it. All the other salads and dips we chose came recommended by the server, and we didn't regret a single one. The second time, I ordered the Samac sandwich + fattoush + lemonade combo. There was a bit too much dressing on the fattoush and I found it lacking in variety of vegetables but it was good nonetheless. The lemonade was freshly squeezed, herb-infused, and so so so refreshing. The Samac was to die for - piping hot and possibly one of the most delicious things I've had in my life. All in all, a great cheap place and the price doesn't compromise taste. I'm sad I didn't listen to my friends' recommendations earlier and missed out on two years of this amazing food.
