| - We went here for an after dinner treat because we have never tried rolled ice cream before and it's situated right in the food court at South Hills Village Mall, steps from the restaurant we came from.
They had about 10-15 menu options, and we chose the Reese's Delight. We had the choice of chocolate or vanilla ice cream (we chose vanilla), one large Reese cup that was crushed up and mixed into the ice cream, a peanut butter drizzle, and topped with whipped cream and a smaller Reese cup.
There otherwise weren't very many exciting choices for the ice cream if you wanted to just make your own creation. They also did not have a dairy free or vegan ice cream option.
My boyfriend enjoyed the ice cream and I thought it was just meh, fine. There wasn't really anything special about it. Also, the people who rung us up and made it were nice enough, but I think this type of ice cream is somewhat more about the experience of watching them do their thing with the ice cream. They made it correctly, albeit it took a lot longer than I expected, but the experience itself was lackluster and the employees seemed like they couldn't wait to go home. I can't really blame them because they had a long-ish line and the ice cream process looks like a bit of a workout, but their ice cream is a little too pricey in my opinion to have a mediocre experience.
I don't think we'll be back. I think we will try a more popular option like the one in Lawrenceville.
