I was in the area for business last week and came into McFadden's for lunch on Tuesday. It wasn't too busy and I didn't have any issues with service or prices- both were great, in my opinion.
I ordered the Reuben and it was fantastic. The sandwich was huge, piled high with corned beef and kraut. The bread was toasted perfectly and didn't get soggy which was a MAJOR plus.
I also had the bread pudding, because duh. If it's on the menu I have to order it, so I did, and YUM. The caramel whiskey sauce knocked my socks off, and the consistency of the bread pudding was great. I'm not sure where all these crappy reviews came from, but maybe they have a new kitchen staff or something?
Either way, I'll be back the next time I'm in Glendale.
