What are the odds that all of a sudden two people are posting reviews for this vendor?!?
While my issues are not so dire as Br M, I certainly will agree that Casa has quality control issues. Our first couch set had a number of issues with the stitching / seams unraveling, creases or folds in the leather which are evidently from the folds in the leather when it was shipped, cushions that didn't quite fit in the seat cover and a small unidentified red stain which I'm guessing was blood. Many of these were easily identifiable and had someone spent the time to quality control ("QC") the finished product, they would have noticed them and should have rectified the issue before it was delivered to the customer.
I will give them this though ... they accomodated our schedule. We needed the couches in a week and they certainly delivered ... perhaps to the detriment of QC.
The second set (three pieces) took eight weeks to complete but I understand that their service vehicle caught fire and they no longer had access to a delivery truck.
Another sign of their loose attention to detail was evident in the accent cushions they made to accompany the three piece couch set. We fabric is a green/orange/khaki colour and instead of trying to colour match the fabric, they used a bright white zipper which sticks out and clashes with the fabric and the couch. Any vendor with pride in craftsmanship and a sense of style would have either not made the mistake of using a white zipper or refused to ship it to the customer.
Would I do business with Casa again? No ... there's too much choice in the market place.
