  • If you decide to go with the Clebourne House to have an event, do NOT take any of Candace's recommendations. She recommended me a "DJ" who was her son, and he wasn't even a DJ at all. We made a playlist for him that Candace said he had to have by a certain date to download all the songs which was obviously a lie because his laptop never left YouTube and we only heard a few songs off that list. He was drinking during our party, so by the end of the night played mostly what he wanted to hear. Myself, and multiple people had to talk to him to pump up the party and play the music we wanted to hear. Does that sound like a DJ to you? When you throw a party, the music makes the party. We still had a great time, but it would have been a wonderful time if the music was what we wanted and not just played off of YouTube. On the plus side, the food was good and the portions were great. The young lady working the bar did her job well and even walked around asking people if they needed another drink when they were out or low. The venue has a beautiful courtyard, which we loved.
