| - absolutely useless. dr. x (i thought long and hard about whether to use his real name) made a timely visit to my home--thank you. after telling him that i was experiencing profound weakness, fever, and body aches, he asked me if i had anything come "out of your bottom end". wtf? first of all, aren't you a physician? like, is the most medically accurate verbiage you can use "out of your bottom end"? and secondly, what on earth does that have to do with "profound weakness, fever and body aches"?!? he went on to tell me that if nothing came out of my bottom end, i may have to go to the hospital. but what about my complaints? do you have any relevant advice? no, take tylenol, get rest, drink plenty of fluids? he was in and out in, literally, 5 minutes. a colossal waste of time and dying to know how many of my tax dollars go to support this "free" service.
it's a shame, the concept is brilliant, and perfect for the elderly and extremely sick, but utterly useless. perhaps people have had better luck with "doctors" other than the one that visited me...
