  • I enjoy driving well off the beaten path just to pick up great Vinyl. I have driven all the way to Hastings in Kingman, AZ just to locate some great treasures over there that I haven't found anywhere else in town. And as I build my Vinyl collection, Asylum records is my go to for Classic Rock. Their collection within this Genre is unparalled to date. And at times, I have even found rare Ska and Mod records here that I thought I would never find again. The folks here are friendly, and they do a good job of arranging, displaying and caring for the Vinyl that they sell. I stopped going to Zia for Vinyl simply because of their ineptitude with regard handling this media type. They may not have the most extensive collection of Jazz or Classical, but for the items that I am looking for, they always seem to deliver. They are definitely worth the drive, even though they aren't that easily accessible from the freeway. Tucked in what seems to be the Old World of downtown Mesa, this place seems like a dichotomy for the general area. However, in spite of, they seem to fit right in, and no one else seems to mind!
