I was visiting my sister in NC and she says to me..lets take Waylon (my dog) to paint pottery..
So we went..totally unsure if he would even sit still long enough to get a decent paw print onto the ceramic bowl i had chosen..the employee came over and put some of the blue paint i picked out onto a piece of plastic and reached for his paw..he looked at me as if to ask "is this ok?"..and just went with it..it was as if he had done this before and new the drill, very hilarious to me..i was able to get four really cute prints around the outside of the bowl, and then he got his paw cleaned up and the rest of the time there was just chilling out for him!
I picked out another shade of blue and one brown and i set out to make this new water bowl for him a beautiful peice of art work..well i dont know if i really did..but it looks pretty cute..the only bummer is that i have to wait the two weeks for it to get fired and then my sister will pick it up and mail it to me here in FL..
the place is clean, and cheery..super fun and inexpensive..LOTS of projects to choose from line the walls and theres a station with alllll the paints and stencils and stamps you could ever imagine wanting to use..the staff is friendly and you can also bring your own drinks there..pretty nifty..
i will mention that the store had a sweet "mascot" doggy..just walking around not bothering anyone at all..i would like to extend an apology since my 17lb chihuahua mix lost his mind and barked angrily..
i know my sister and her son go here often and i might come again when im in town the next time, cant wait to see the finished bowl for my pooch!!
