My daughter went to tire works on 4/9 for new brake pads. She has a "friend" that works there and replaced them without charging her labor fees. A week later the brakes were still squealing so she took it back. 2 mechanics looked at her vehicle and told her nothing was wrong and to spray wd-40 on them! She took the car to Ted Wiens and they said the pads were installed incorrectly and were already cracked. Ted Wiens replaced them correctly and the squeak was gone. My husband and I took the cracked brake pads back to Tire Works for a refund. Robert told me my daughter was a liar and they never told her to spray wd-40 on the brakes, he stated that her boyfriend told them the waned the most cost effective brake pads and that's what he got. I find it hard to believe two 19 yr old kids said they wanted old cracked brake pads. Robert was extremely rude, at first refusing to even give me his name. All we wanted was the $38 for the brake pads, which he even admitted were bad! Do not go to this place, they are a bunch of scam artists!
