I came here after finding this place on yelp. I was NOT impressed.
Price: $65 for a basic haircut. I knew this place was going to be more than I would normally pay, but $65??? Yelp under pricing says it is $45. When I told them that they only charged me $45. But honestly, the haircut I got here is worse than haircuts I have gotten from students at the different hair schools here.
Cut: I just wanted a simple bob cut. I showed the hairdresser a picture. But apparently that was too complicated-
1. If I hadn't said anything I would have walked out with the right side longer than the left. Yes, it was totally uneven and I had to ask her to fix it.
2. She put all these layers in back that she did not put in the front. My hair flips outward in back, and curves in on the sides where there are less layers... Even after straightening it. It looks like crap.
Atmosphere: This place is small and crowded. It's one large room and then a small washroom in back. The washroom is dark with incense and music. It's a little cheesy if you ask me -I came here for a quality haircut, not fake ambience
Service: My hairdresser was nice, but I felt like I was on a first date. What do you do? How long have you been here? Where are you from? Really??? I just want my hair cut! Then as she was drying my hair, she switched places with another hairdresser and had her blow dry my hair. And I had to answer the same questions allover again!
Furthermore, all of the hairdressers that I had seen there... had terrible hair! And even the one who blew dry my hair told me that her hair looked terrible that day. If you're going to sell haircuts, you need to have an awesome one!!
