We usually always end up at Lindo Michoacán by Las Lomas in Henderson but we wanted to try somewhere else. I've always passed by Viva Zapatas and I told my husband we should try it out. Well...here it goes.
There was a 15-20 minute wait (which I don't mind because it was a Mother's day Weekend). I pictured the restaurant waaaay bigger but I was wrong. The entrance is so small that if you do have to wait just know that you're gonna be waiting outside in the heat.
The table that they gave us was near the entrance. I wanted to switch tables BUT I knew that was gonna be another 20 minute wait and we were already starving. Anyways, it was pretty dark inside. Felt like we were some dam vampires.
Now to the food....so....if I would of known that they pretty much did the exactly same thing as Lindo Michoacán, I would of just gone to Lindo Michoacán. The chips and dips are pretty much the same. Oh and let's not forget the fideo. Which by the way had no taste at all AND pretty much there was no fideos in my dam soup! Huh!? Felt like I was drinking colored water. But I will give them this...I ordered a combo of chile rellenos without the sauce. That was some good ass Chile rellenos. The beans were pretty good and the rice was ehh...but I wasn't super impressed.
The service was okay....
I wouldn't come back.
P.S. I was gonna give them two stars BUT the chile rellenos saved them.
