  • Came here for dinner.. This place is EXTREMELY overpriced for the quality of the sushi and amount that you are getting. Smaller rolls are around $6-9, and larger are upwards of $12-16. I had the California Roll and Dragon. Rice, the foundation of any great sushi, was WAY too soft... Each bite of this mess was chewy and mushy, reminding me of sticky rice.. not what sushi is supposed to taste like, and really ruined the overall taste. The dishes are also lacking of consistency- my friends ordered the same roll, but each looked different upon presentation. A good restaurant should at least attempt to have a standardized approach in preparation. When we got seated, no menus were provided; maybe I'm spoiled, but if there are three people at the table, I'm used to getting three menus. We weren't given additional menus and just used the two paper menus on the table. Luckily, the three of us weren't getting all-you-can-eat, so we didn't have to crowd around the only one all-you-can-eat menu. Worst part, your entire party will need to come ready to eat if you want to take "advantage" of the all-you-can-eat sushi option, otherwise you can't get it. Not friendly or conducive at all to a good time. I understand the reasoning behind it, but c'mon. You have enough staff for the not-so-busy restaurant to have them making sure sneaking of all-you-can-eat sushi isn't happening. Other (cheaper) all-you-can-eat sushi places can pull it off, so I don't understand why our party of 7 needed to split. If you and ALL of your friends can eat more than three (I would really say four or five considering the quality to price ratio) large rolls and are willing to endure mushy, crappy... but bottomless sushi, then you can consider going to Muramoto for dinner. Otherwise, do yourselves a favor and spend your money on some actually decent food.
