These people are a joke. Their only redeeming quality is Tracy the Spin Instructor. They play like they want to help but they do not. I signed up for training with a certain instructor who said they would train me. He then decided he didn't have time for me and so sent me to another. Then that trainer quit without notifying me. So, I decided to try training at another location thinking things would be better. Nope. That trainer got sick and cancelled. Only I didn't find out till I had already been waiting at the gym for 30 minutes. When I asked the girl at the front desk what was going on she couldn't even be bothered to stand up (she was leaning on the counter) and put her phone down to talk to me. I couldn't hear what she was saying and so I had to ask her three times to come over to the counter and talk to me. So, I asked if I could upgrade my membership so that I could work out at another location and train there instead. They gave me the run around and took over a week (with repeated calls from me) just to find out that they were going to charge me fees that I had already paid for the year again. Their compromise was that they would give me one free month of dues. That would only cover about half of the fees they were trying to charge me. So, it has been three months and I have paid $300 for a personal trainer that I have only seen once!!! I talked to management and told them I had had enough and wanted to end the whole agreement (I was told it was a 3 month contract). They "worked very hard" to cancel the remaining month on my contract, but I was still going to be required to use the sessions and I have until the end of January to do so. USE THE SESSIONS???? I have been trying to for the last three months! They refuse to help me and then turn around and blame it on me saying it's my fault I wasn't able to get with a trainer. I understand they might not be able to give me back the money I have spent, but at least give me the credit right? No. When I asked to speak to a different manager Anna refused. She not only blames the whole episode on me, but refuses to assist me any further by running my issue up the chain of command. As far as I am concerned Gold's doesn't care one fig about the happiness of it's members or making sure that they are provided with good service. I suggest you sign up somewhere else.
