The hotel room was a disappointment. The couches had stains on them. The room was pretty dusty and they boast about the rooms being all suites but I'd rather have a decent sized room with clean surroundings. The only good part was the view from the room. They stopped their shuttle service to the strip so that was a bummer considering we had to use uber most of the time.
In short, if you want to stay in a good hotel and enjoy the Las Vegas attractions, try the hotels on the strip. The Rio is not the worst, it's just about how picky you are on the cleanliness and the distance to the strip.
