  • I have been going to Julia Esthetics for waxing for the last 5 years. I was introduced to her place by a friend and I have been going there ever since. I don't live in the area and have even moved farther away, but when you like a place you keep going there and I do. Besides who wants to shop around for a brazilian wax person...not me. I have always had a good experience going here. Sometimes I've had to wait, but she takes her time, is patient, very hygienic, particular, and sensitive skin no problem. Waxing obviously hurts but when its done by a professional you can tell and that's what she is, she knows her stuff. As for all the reviews which I have read and can say they are all really legit. I did notice back in 2012 there was a ill review and I can recall that back then she mentioned something happening in the family and that she even had to fly home. I have never had a problem (going a few times a year) she has always been a very polite and professional person. Extra notes: Wax prices are reasonable ($$). Its a place where you should make appointments tho, I wouldn't drop in because she is a one woman show. Street parking can be crazy around 3-6pm/cause there just isn't any. TTC is the same distance walk between Christie and Bathurst stations, but I walk from Bathurst so I can pick up a coffee. (that's just me) Give her a try, if your waxing well its obviously gonna hurt:) but worth a shot. Its one of those places you hope never leaves! cause then your going to have to find someone all over again to give you that personal wax;) if you know what I mean.
