I normally love going into Tuesday Morning locations. They have so many unique items and the prices are very good. Well, this wasn't the case for this Tuesday Morning. This is all about the cashier and only the cashier.
I wandered through the store and ended up with at least a dozen things I wanted to purchase. However, there was no cashier to be found. I looked down each aisle. Still no cashier. After waiting quite a while for one to show up, I finally dialed the number of Tuesday Morning hoping to ask someone to send a cashier. The phone was ringing and the cashier ran from the back of the store (I assume) pulling a roller suitcase. No need to keep the phone ringing so I hung up.
There was no acknowledgement from the cashier that I even had been waiting for her. She could have said, "I'll be right with you" or some acknowledgement that someone was waiting to check out. Nope, in fact, I was totally ignored while she looked up the price (?) of the suitcase. A customer caught up with her while they discussed price. I stood and stood while waiting but no comment, no help. The phone rang. She ignored it too. Finally, I had no choice but to leave my basket on the counter and walk out of the store. Cashier needs to be briefed on what customer service is.
