My 7 year old and I checked this place out last weekend. I understand this is a new location, so I will forgive some of the service faux pas. I enjoyed the mushroom tacos and give kudos to the kitchen for making them even though I ordered them at a time they weren't available. Careful of the color coding system on the menu if you go. I didn't find the place to be kid friendly menu-wise though. My kiddos mac and cheese had some odd seasoning or spice and after one bite she wouldn't touch it. I ordered something else and let the server know that she did not like the mac. The French toast was nominally better. I understand that vegan french toast is likely very challenging, so again, forgiveness. The wild and green drink (I think that's what it was called) sounded delicious. Unfortunately that didn't translate to the glass. I like spicy and sweet flavors together so the pineapple jalapeno combo sounded appealing, but when it arrived (after our entrees) it was so intensely jalapeno the none of the other flavors were discernable. I struggled to consume it as I was reluctant to walk away from a $9 drink. I was dismayed when the bill arrived and I discovered that the mac and cheese had not been removed even though it was barely touched. Nor was my beverage, despite it's late arrival. I work in hospitality and have for 25 years. This is not the norm in my industry. We spent $50 and really only enjoyed one item. I think I'll stick to flower child from now on.
