  • I will absolutely never go to this location again. The "customer service" is absolutely appalling. I made an appointment for this location for Saturday morning at 7 am. As soon as I walk in the door, around 7:05, one of the your employees said "wow, I didn't think anyone else in the state was awake at this time", as if somehow I was a burden to them and to the business by making the first available appointment during business hours. If being awake at 7 am is so early that everyone else in the state is sleeping, they should probably open up a bit later. I then proceed to show them a coupon for an oil change on my phone. The tech at the front counter said "we will take the coupon this time, but next time you need to print it out, because we need it to give to corporate. Now we're not getting paid for the oil change" I was never informed or told that customers needed to bring in paper coupons. But as soon as he said "we're not going to be making money on this" I automatically feared the worst...and boy were my fears realized. As I'm sitting in the lobby, I overhead of the service techs ask someone in the office how to remove an in cabin air filter from my vehicle, as they were having trouble removing it. A bit later, one of the service techs comes out and claims that my in cabin air filter and air filter needed to be replaced. I proceed to the service bay with the technician, who shows me my in cabin air filter...or what I used to call my in cabin air filter. You see, the in cabin air filter was completely ripped to shreds, so much so that it was unusable. So you're telling me one of your service techs was having trouble removing the air filter, and 20 minutes later, I needed to replace it because it was so ripped and destroyed? I find it highly suspicious that my air filter was in that condition before you guys got to it. But how lucky was I that you guys sold in cabin air filters for my car right in the store! I didn't cause a fuss, because clearly you guys do not care about me as a customer, otherwise you guys wouldn't be annoyed that I came in at Saturday morning at 7 am as well as take better care of my car and the air filters, so I didn't want the argue the fact that you guys broke my air filter. Your tech then explained that my other air filter needed to be replaced as it was "absolutely disgusting" and then tossed it on top of my engine. So we go back to the office and he explained that your computer system shows other auto part stores in town and the price of their parts compared to yours. You see, your tech just started to quickly flip through screens, failing to show me what price your air filters were, compared to other places, and just stated "yup we're the cheapest". Again, if you guys are all about customer service, there clearly was absolutely 0 here, any other business would show me the price of the filter and show me the actual list of the other stores. Then, he didn't even really give me an option to say no. He just asked me how I was going to pay, which again, I paid for, but any normal business would ask the customer if they would like the service done, than just assume they want it done. This has literally been the worst customer experience service I've ever had the displeasure of having. Clearly all you guys care about is money and what should have been a 20 dollar oil change turned into an almost 80 dollar bill. I'm terribly sorry that I burdened this location with my business and money during normal business hours. I'm sorry that this store "wasn't making any money" with my lack of a coupon, which clearly was fixed when my air filter suddenly became ripped to shreds and I just had to buy another one. You guys will never ever have to worry about me being a burden with my business or my money. This location is beyond terrible with their terrible attitude, horrible customer service and troubling business practices. I will absolutely never recommend this location to anyone. If anyone asks me, I will be sure to mention my experience here and be sure to tell them to stay far away as possible. This business is absolutely horrendous. If I could give a negative score, I absolutely would. I rarely post on yelp, but this business was so bad that I HAD to review this place. That's how bad it was. Shame on you and your shady and deceptive business practices. EDIT 3/1/18: Well, it does appear that Meineke does take my disappointment in them extremely lightly. It's been over a week since I emailed them to get the "conversation started" in regards to their response to my yelp review. They never emailed me back. It looks like they just want people to think they care by responding on yelp, but when it comes down to actually coming through and responding personally to emails that they requested, not so much. This business is an absolute joke.
