  • Argh. I wanted this place to be awesome. I mean the name - I thought we hit a gold mine! I walked in and was greeted by a super friendly girl making the food and a blond woman at the register. I happily announced "This is my first time here!", and she said oh, paused and with extreme lack of enthusiasm, asked if I needed any explanations on the menu. I ordered a salad and she asked large or small, and I asked what they looked like and the price difference - apparently this really agitated her. Sorry! Geez! After being totally turned off by our first greeting, the salad we got was very good and we enjoyed it. For $8, we thought it was a decent deal for North Scottsdale. But we then got the avocado comfort wrap, which was basically spinach, tomatoes, onions and avocado, with cashew cream sauce. For $9.50. Not worth the price for a pretty small wrap with no side. Additionally, I was pulling out about 1/3 of the avocado inside because it was BLACK and had gone bad. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but we REALLY had our hopes up, being vegetarian and loving raw food.
