| - Recently purchased a Toyota Camry. The whole experience was miserable. It took 3 1/2 hours just to get a deal done. They negotiate the old fashioned way, you know when they send in the sales manager. Since it took so long, I told them I would be back the next day to finish the transaction. So, thinking I only had to sign on the dotted line shouldn't be more than 30 minutes to finish up. Hour and a half later, still didn't finish the transaction and had to come back another day, because I didn't bring the plate I was going to transfer. They knew this and didn't remind me to bring it. I didn't realize I had to know their business. So, a third day at the dealership, I brought the tag, Crystal had forgotten to get the down payment, so had to take care of even more paperwork. I wasn't sure how the tag was going to be transferred, since no-one asked for the registration or record the tag number down. Taking the car home and questioning if they had completed the transaction correctly. I called and asked. Crystal said I can transfer the tag from the registration. You never asked for the registration??? Since I wasn't confident they would transfer the tag correctly, I told them to get me a new one. Yet another day to the dealership!!?!? I asked someone to deliver it to me and DJ, my sales rep offered to bring it by on his day off. He gets a good point for that, but unfortunately, he was very annoying when I picked my car up. Apparently, Scott Clark Toyota sends out reviews. He asked me several times to give them a perfect review and if I could not, don't submit one. I thought reviews were for actual customer opinions??
There are a lot of Toyota dealerships in Charlotte, go somewhere else. By the way, according to the sales manager with my credit score I could buy a car anywhere. Shame on me for giving Scott Clark Toyota my business.
