| - I stayed here for a few nights recently on a business trip, and let me tell you a little about me when I travel. First, I hate planes, and I will stop a plane from taking off if I don't have a half of a beloved Xanax. I love, love, love to travel, but it makes me so gosh-darn anxious at the same time. So, I really love it when a hotel makes me feel comfortable and at home, and that's exactly what this lovely hotel did.
My room was very spacious and extra clean. My bed was heavenly, my view was beautiful, the shower was perfect, and there was a separate tub in my room with lovely boxes of soap. I ordered room service one evening, and that was wonderful, too. The chicken was perfect and the veggies were crisp and tasted like they were fresh from the garden. I also met up with some colleagues at the hotel's restaurant just outside the lobby -- sorry, I'm forgetting the name of the place -- but the roast and cucumber soup I had were simply delish. Oh, and I don't know what they put in their vodka tonics, but the tonic has this extra sweet flavor that was just a little different and special. I don't speak much French, but I had a very easy time speaking to the bilingual staff in English. The concierge was very helpful and friendly, and even let me email her some of my business documents and printed them for me at no charge. What a gal. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
And one more thing, this hotel is in a perfect location and walking distance to the city's main attractions!
