  • I spent about 2 years attending a few different churches while trying desperately to find one that was home to me. One Sunday, while driving home from a service across town, I saw the sign for Encounter with the website on it. I immediately looked it up and was so sad that I had to wait a whole week to attend the next Sunday's service. (Double win, it was right by my house). After that one visit to Encounter, I knew I'd found what I had been searching for. More than 5 years later, I'm still so happy I have such an amazing home church. The pastors are just real, transparent, and loving people that know how to display the heart of God. The worship is amazing, the nursery and Kids' Church are safe and welcoming, and the messages are always Bible based and spot-on. If you're looking for authenticity, unconditional love, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, this is the place!
