  • I would give less than 1 star if possible. Do not work with this company, they are criminals. I called them because they took over a company that installed my water heater so I was hoping they would have some sort of reputation. It started with a busted pipe outside my house that my landscape person estimated for $150. I called Home Depot and they estimated $59 for parts. I didn't want to install myself, so I called my landscaper but he was busy that day so I went ahead and called Hawthorne plumbing hoping to find reasonable pricing. After charging me a $69 show up fee the plumber estimated $500 for repairing the busted pipe. I asked him how much it would take him to repair and he said 1 hour. That's when it started going downhill. I don't mind paying the show up fee (which I did), but to estimate an absurd price is insane. Like I said, do not work with this company if you don't want to get robbed.
