| - After a great experience with a recent Enterprise car rental in Honolulu, I decided that I was going with Enterprise for this Las Vegas trip. As a Costco member, I booked through Costco's travel site as I did on the previous rental. With the confirmation, I was good to go.
At LAS McCarren Airport, the car rental agencies are centralized in one location. You hop on the rental car shuttle for a short ride to the center on Gilespie St. At Enterprise, you check in at one of kiosks and head upstairs to where the cars are located. Due to use error, I had to go the counter and the worker checked me in. As I arrived upstairs, a worker greeted me and pointed me to the row of intermediate cars for selection. As I checked out the seven cars available, the worker suggested the Elantra because it didn't have any car dings or scratches on it. I went with her suggestion, loaded the luggage, drove to the gate, and Las Vegas here I come!
Upon return, Anthony checked me in, inspected the car and was going to print my receipt for rental. However, apparently there was a system issue and he could not print my receipt. He apologized for the delay and gave me discount, which amounted to about 15%, of my rental charge.
How cool! Made some money without having to gamble. Another great rental experience at Enterprise. I know where I'll be making my next rental reservation.
