  • For a buffet, this place is pretty classy. And all the food items do definitely taste better than at other buffets. Current promotion: Sign-up for the Caesar's credit card and get automatic platinum status (which means a much shorter buffet line) and 2-for-1 buffet passes (which for Bacchanal means a discount rate - weekend dinner was $40 for 2 people). On a Friday night at approx. 7:00pm, the line was fairly short. There is a drink menu you can order off of at your table. There's cocktails, wine, and beer. You can also opt to pay $22 for unlimited drinks, and you get to keep the glass. Mimosas, merlot, chardonnay, Miller Lite, or Newcastle were the unlimited drink options. And no switching back and forth. So if you choose merlot, you're drinking merlot all night. The servers do a really good job of keeping the unlimited drink glasses filled. The buffet itself is actually not as large as some other spots (though certainly larger than some others). There's a wide variety of food offerings. And again, everything was definitely tastier than at other buffets I've been to. I also really liked the small plates concept. I was a little disappointed, though, as several of the items in the Yelp reviews and pictures were not actually anywhere to be found. The biggest disappoint of all was the lack of Alaskan king crab. I was told there was king crab! But both the cold and steamed offerings were just snow crab. This put a serious damper on my experience as I'd been so looking forward to devouring a whole bunch of king crab. The seafood options are pretty good, though. A nice selection of both warm and cold. I particularly liked the clams. I wish they'd had a red vinaigrette for the oysters, though. They also have prime rib, which was something I had multiple servings of. It wasn't particularly flavorful, but with the au jus and horseradish, it was good. The Wagyu beef sliders were also delicious. There are a lot of dessert offerings. I think I literally tried every flavor of gelato. Not the best gelato I've had, but I definitely liked that they had a variety of unique options. All in all, it was a good experience. But I think I over-hyped it to myself by spending so much time looking at all the pictures. This is definitely a buffet I would come back to.
