  • Went to TM for Driver fitting. The Flight scope would not work and kept breadking down. I also made an appointment a month before heading to Vegas, they were an hour or so late and were hurried trying to sale a club. So no flow to fitting. The fitter suggested a teaching lesson, so I bit (waste of money). Went from shooting scratch golf to low 80's, just now undoing the mess they caused by having me stick my left shoulder out (closed stance). Unless I hit in a hook position, the club does not fit my swing. I can hit a rescue club further than the driver with my fixed swing I returned home with. Fitter grabbed an 8.5 deg. M-1 with a Fuji Pro 60 shaft and we hit a couple of shots, he said this is it. We did not test any other shafts, lofts etc... Not much of a fitting. Now going to local pro to get correct shaft. Had local pro check my TM swing and my actual swing, his analysis was they are selling lessons on people as the closed swing will produce temporary longer shots but it is a patch not a fix and leads to long term hitting issues (which I was experiencing). As I did not have a swing problem to start with, this really does not make me happy. It has taken 3 months to undue the damage. While they have a full selection, do not get suckered into taking a swing lesson while fitting clubs, and make sure their flight scope works.
