| - I first heard about amazing nails through their Instagram, and seeing their work I was really excited to make this my new salon. The woman that did my nails was very pleasant and she shaped my nails perfectly, except she didnt clean under them so there was all this nail debris from the filing and sanding left under my nails. I'm giving this place 3 stars because I went in for a full set of bio uv gel nails ($45) and before she started painting them, I asked if she could just trim my cuticles a little to clean them up, she said $5, I said ok. Then the owner who I believe is named Kim, started yelling in Vietnamese to her colleague and then she said "oh sorry I forgot its $10!" What?!
Quite frankly I was very turned off, $10 to cut cuticles? Geeze I'm in the wrong business! I was comfortable with paying $5 but not $10 it wasn't busy (Sunday) and I think it should be part of the service, you don't just paint someone's nails without at least trying to make the cuticles a little cleaner. A manicure is $15, if you're charging me $10 on top of a $45 nail job then I should get a manicure with it, not just trimmed cuticles.
Anyway, I left without my nails painted and painted them at home. Very disappointed.
