| - The only reason they get two stars is because of how great Dr. Tolan is. He's a good doctor and has been great to go to. If I could just rate him I'd give him five stars. The scheduling staff, on the other hand, is another story. The staff member in charge of appointments and issuing referrals messed up twice. First, I scheduled a follow-up appointment with their office when I finished my initial appointment, and more than a week later they finally called to let me know that they hadn't actually recorded my appointment and I would need to reschedule. Of course at that point available times were even later in the calendar year. They were also supposed to send my insurance a referral to approve for a procedure. They told me to schedule my procedure within 24-48 hours after my initial appointment with a particular facility in town, so I did just that. Instead of sending the referral for the facility they had told me to call, they sent it for a completely different facility and failed to let me know. So today I went in for my appointment and sure enough the facility they originally said didn't have my referral. After calling the staff member on the phone to check about my referral, she told me they had sent it somewhere else and then proceeded to try to tell me they had told me about it. However, after pressing her for a further explanation she said when they had tried to tell me that the phone connection was bad and it was never communicated. So not only did they mess up the initial follow up and scheduling, they failed to be competent in informing me where to get my procedure after the referral. So instead of being done with medical visits as of next week, I now have to push everything back. Hopefully this isn't something serious as it'll be at least a week or two behind when it should have been. On top of that, the staff member made it sound like this is all my fault and not once apologized for the errors.
