| - Were I come from, all you can eat sushi means buffet, which also means stay away. So when Khatherine T. and I made a sushi date and she suggested AYCE, I about died. Thankfully, Oyshi Sushi has opened my eyes to the other side of AYCE.
Even though this was my first real experience with AYCE, I still ordered off the menu, LOL! Should have and would have tried it, but the BF begged me to bring him left overs, the AYCE rules require you to finish eating everything you order. Nuts! Next time the BF can get his own sushi, I'm going big or going home!
Our server was so nice! He made several recommendations of really good rolls, I like mine spicy and he knew which were hot and which were too hot. He even told me one roll to stay away from. He was attentive and made sure we always had food in front of us and our water glasses stayed full. Khatherine was a pro at this, she didn't even have to look at the menu, she knew everything she wanted and ordered each time he came back to the table. She knew how to keep the sushi coming, and everything that came to the table looked delicious!
The sushi was good, not amazing, but good. I tried the Monster Roll (it was so big I had a hard time fitting it in my mouth!), the Rainbow Roll (by BF's request), and the Red Dragon. The Red Dragon was by far my favorite!! My order actually ended up being more expensive than the AYCE, but at least I could bring leftovers home. Now I need to plan date night with the Beau so that we can come back and try the AYCE together.
