  • Was in town for a meeting with a local business whose HQ is just a half mile down the road from the hotel. Check in was smooth and trouble free. The lobby area is small but not a big deal. My room was nice and large with all the usual amenities. Had a large king bed which was VERY comfortable. Good selection of channels on the tube to choose from. Easy to manage heat and cooling unit. I was able to keep the room cool, just the way I like it. Negatives were a mediocre at best breakfast. The scrambled eggs were barely warm and no breakfast potatoes were offered. They do offer a nightly reception in the lobby from 5:00-7:00, with beer, wine, soda and snacks. Unfortunately, the beer selection was Bud, Bud Light and Miller Lite. Still would have been ok if the canned beer was cold, which it wasn't. It seemed like the beer was stored in a closet and then placed in a tub of ice. Beer doesn't get chilled in 30 seconds. Makes no sense to drink a beer that isn't ice cold. Still, even with the couple of negatives, on the whole, this is a decent place to spend the night. I would stay here again.
