I found this company on Narpro's recommended mechanics site. I took my car in at 9am on a Wednesday because of a grinding noise and smoke that rose from under the hood. The gentlemen started to take my information but let me stand there for 10 minutes while he took a personal call. I didn't receive a call back until after 4pm the same day.
They said my radiator was bad and wanted to replace it. They also recommended changing the hoses as the hoses were old and hard. Total quote (parts + labor) was nearly $900! I declined the repairs and ordered the parts online. Total cost of parts, including a new recovery tank, radiator cap, coolant, and shipping and handling: $208.80. I've never even changed a radiator before. I had to read a few "how to" sites before attempting the job. It took me about 3 hours.
The sad thing is that this didn't fix the problem and A few days later, my car had trouble starting. The actual issue was a bad a/c compressor bearing that was grinding metal on metal and smoking. The wheel was so bad that the belt was hanging up and my engine couldn't get going.
1 star for at least finding that the radiator was going bad, although it wasn't causing any problems. 1 star for a reasonable diagnostic price.
