I have had many good experiences with Peoria Charter but my last experience was very unpleasant. I was told very rudely that my bag was oversized and that I would have to pay an extra $10. An oversized baggage fee is understandable but I have previously taken this particular bag onto Peoria Charter buses 8 times and my bag was never flagged giving tacit approval of the bag for travel. When I mentioned this to be driver he told me (again very rudely) that he wasn't going to argue (I didn't try to argue I was just making my point). As I was traveling out of the country I did not have any US currency and when I told him this, he pointed to the terminal building and told me I could get cash there. My bags were too heavy to take with me so he made me abandon them at the bus stop, telling me I had to hurry. When I got back to the bus he snatched the money out of my hand and did not offer me change (until I asked for it) or a receipt for the payment and then lead me to the back of the bus to load my bag. I should mention that I was struggling with two bags and there were buses sweeping past, very close to me while I was doing this which doesn't seem like a particularly safe situation. Like I said previously, I usually really like Peoria Charter but this driver was incredibly rude and unpleasant and I really think Peoria would benefit from sticking to their guidelines for luggage size as it is confusing if something is allowed 8 times before and then is suddenly a problem.
