| - I'm really torn on this review. The issues we had at Le Saint Sulpice were purely the result of bad luck and 90% not the hotel's fault. In a nutshell, the hotel is really loud, and we were placed near rowdy guests (very drunk, and smoking reeking pot 24/7) during our weekend visit. To the hotel's credit, they did what they could to apologize, move us, upgrade us, etc. The noise, combined with small things like an only average quality breakfast in the Sinclair, unfamiliar hair in the cleaned bathroom, and dirty carpet in our first suite, brings the rating down to a 3 star review.
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, there is a lot to like at this hotel. Staff is unfailingly polite. The Old Montreal location can absolutely not be beat and is convenient to the Place D'Armes Metro. Rooms are obscenely roomy and have all the amenities you'd want: fast free wifi, iron, espresso machine, L'Occtaine toiletries, and so on. Bed is comfortable. Valet is quick and efficient. Price was surprisingly reasonable for what you get.
I'd give them another chance.
