  • After weeks of experiencing nearly debilitating foot pain that put my employment in question, I made an appointment with Dr. Stan Bosta of Homestead's Allegheny Foot & Ankle who then treated me, prescribed some medication, and enthusiastically directed me to Gordon's Shoes, a business that's been in operation since 1885. The spotless, bright, well-organized, amply stocked shop is manned by a squadron of friendly, knowledgeable, accessible employees, one of whom waited on me without hesitation once I made mention of Dr. Bosta and presented her with a coupon that had the exact model of recommended custom orthotic written on it. She then measured my feet, retrieved for me some brand new, extremely comfortable New Balance insoles, and gently slid them into my workboots. All of this occurred within the span of 5 minutes.
