  • What a terrific company. Came out the same day I called. The technician Robert even called 20 minutes before arrival which was right on time. My AC fan would continue to run even though the thermostat was in the off position. Robert inspected everything possible on the unit and suggested it might be the circuit board. He said that before he would recommend a new part he wanted to make absolutely sure that was the problem. After he did more tests he wasn't convinced about replacing the circuit board. Then he did a highly technical procedure...he gave the circuit board a little tap. Amazingly, it worked and my unit is back to normal and running great. He could have charged me for a circuit board (approx. $300-$500) which I would have gladly paid but was honest and professional enough to diagnose the problem to his satisfaction. He even inspected the coolant level and the compressor. He worked for about 50 minutes in that hot attic and outside. My total cost $60. I will never use anyone else besides Black Mountain Air for all my air conditioning needs because of their honesty and the trust I have in them now. And if Robert is an example of all their employees then congratulations to the hiring department. Excellent Company!
