  • This place will charge you triple any other shop will. And have you replace a bunch of stuff you don't need. I took my red 240 in for a simple dyno tune. First of they did not have a data logger. I had just put a new fuel pump, injectors, and maf. Guess what? They replaced my injectors with someone's stocks. Put some crap fuel pump in. And I'm guessing swapped my working z32 maf with a non working one. Charged me 2 grand and told me my power fc was bad. Funny thing is I was able to drive my car out of my car trailer when I took it to them. Sad I had to winch it on when I picked it up. After taking it to church motorsports in California found out what they did. All because they were trying to sell me an rb swap they had sitting around. Idiots I was trying the waters before bringing one of my other cars in. 08 still, 05 s2000, 96tt supra and my nsx. Why else would I own that new lifted diesel and an enclosed car hauler and then the flat bed with the winch set up. Told them I had a 2k budget for a dyno tune to see if I could trust them. Clearly could not. And the one 5 star post is from an employee. Check around they screwed a guy from Hawaii too. He posted some stuff online. E-mail me at checkpointracing@aol.com and I will call you or email you back with proof. And that 2nd rate tuner mike is a joke too. Trying to tune my car off the handheld is a rookie high school move. What a joke this place is. All the exposure they have had is work they sent out. Nothing they ever did.
