Scary service!! My 3 yr old grand daughter went to the ER with a gash on her eyebrow. They closed the wound WITHOUT cleaning it. There is even a hair glued to it. My grand daughter is not vaccinated due to health issues, and after a 30 minute interrigation by the vaccine advocate, the advocate cancelled the tetnus shot which my daugter REQUESTED AND AUTHORIZED. AFter two more attempts to get the tetnus shot, both times the order was again cancelled. Was this retaliation? They left ER with a dirtly closed wound and no tetnus shot. She is anxiously awaiting her drs office to open this morning. When she got a hold of her pediatrician's emergency number, the nurse told her that they have had numerous complaints about Centennial's ER and 'do not ever go there'. I'm taking her advice even though it is close by. The wait was quite long 3.5 hours, even though the waiting room had only 3 other people. I am not sure what the staffing was but the service was unbelievably poor. Basically I am trying to document this incident whereever I can in case the wound ends up infected!
