Outstanding service and comfortable chic decor. You select your cocktail/wine list from an iPad delivered to your table. Started with the Maine Lobster (chorizo stuffed with a brandy cream sauce) it was very fresh and was good I can't rave because I didn't taste the chorizo and the sauce was lighter than I expected. Dungeness crab cake was large, fresh and was very good, you could definitely taste a zest in it. Three types of bread like little muffins are presented one of them was infused with a sausage that sounded great but it had a sweetness to it that I didn't care for. I had to go for the signature Beef Wellington (6 oz) it was huge I can't imagine the 12oz I thought I ordered wrong halfway through. Steak was perfect mid rare and the pastry was good, people complained that the pastry comes off easily but that is basically Beef Wellington, sides included Parmesan truffle fingerling potatoes very good you could taste the truffle oil, Gruyere mac and cheese with English peas delicious! Desert we took our servers recommendation and had the sticky toffee pudding which was a small cake topped with caramel sauce, a slab brown butter ice cream resembling a stick of butter with a butter knife sticking out of it, presentation 5 stars and it tasted good but it was a little hyped up by our server. A great restaurant and I'm a lifelong fan of GR, I will be back next time I want to try the Lobster Wellington! Cheers!
