Stay away at ALL COST! Like most others, my home warranty company sent ADA out for a fridge repair. When I saw their D rating on the BBB website I called my home warranty company (First American Home Warranty) and asked them to send someone else. They refused, the issues with FAHW is a whole other issue. Trip one 5/12 a guy comes out and showed up in a nonwork vehicle with a screwdriver and no parts. He diagnosed it as the compressor. He then proceeded to tell me that he wasn't licensed to work on the compressor but that is where all the money is...replacing compressors. There was no chance of my fridge being fixed that day. Monday comes and I hadn't heard from the office so I called to check on the compressor. They said that it had been ordered but takes a few days. I called back again a few days later, no compressor. I called back again on Friday 5/18 and was told that the ETA for shipment wasn't until 5/30. I was in disbelief. FAHW was able to find a compressor that could be delivered sooner. 5/24 they send another tech out with the compressor. He arrived at my house with 15 minutes to spare on the 4 hour time frame. He opened the box and it was the wrong compressor. My husband waited around for 3 hours and 45 minutes for nothing. Had he checked the box before leaving the warehouse this could have been avoided. 5/26 ANOTHER tech comes out to install the compressor. He wasn't there 30 minutes before he asked to take a smoke break. He was at the house for a couple hours. Once finished, he instructed me to wait 24hrs to put anything in the fridge. We wait...24hrs later the fridge had not cooled...AT ALL. Of course it was a Sunday on a holiday weekend. So even though ADA's website says "no extra charge for weekends or holidays" they are not open so I guess it isn't a lie but it is misleading. 5/31 Carlos, the tech that came out the second time returns. After several hours he advises my husband that the fridge cannot be repaired. Basically there was a Freon leak and the previous tech didn't even check for one before installing the new compressor. Every time I called the office the girls were extremely rude, especially Amy the "Customer Service Manager". I have asked multiple times for their business license number, they tell me it is public record but refuse to give it to me. I have checked on Clark County's business license page and was not able to find anything under ADA Repair or All Desert Appliance. I called again today for one last attempt at getting the business license number and Amy hung up on me. Great customer service for the customer service manager. Save yourself the time and heart ache, go with someone else!
