I was very unhappy that I received a defective iPhone 6s from AT&T. They refused to do anything about it and referred me to Apple to get it replaced. After spending an hour on the phone trying to get an appointment set up or being taken as a walk in last night, I finally spoke to a manager named Hillary (I think) who went completely out of her way to make sure I would be taken care of as a walk in at the store in Summerlin.
I walked in and was immediately greeted and sent to the Genius Bar where Mason (I think) took my phone and ran diagnostics on it but couldn't find anything wrong with it. Despite that, they replaced my phone and the new one is working perfectly.
The team there did not have to replace it because I didn't buy it from them but they did anyway because they stand behind their products.
Thanks to the team there for turning a bad situation to a good one and a frustrated customer to a happy one.
PS...make sure you buy your Apple products from Apple directly, not a partner.
