| - I purchased a Yelp deal a couple days prior to coming in to Pop Lash & Nails. It was $28 for $35, which to me was an okay deal, as my services came out to $40 (acrylic full set with coffin shape).
The Yelp deal specified that I must make an appointment to use it, so I called and made the appointment for a full set. However, when I came in for the appointment (about a half hour to close), there was a bit of a miscommunication over the phone. I called for a full set, but they were thinking lashes, not nails. I was a little thrown, since I wasn't clear with what I wanted, but I wasn't upset or anything. They still tried to finish up with their current clients before getting to me, but I felt bad that I'd have to make them stay later (my sister was with me to get manicure). So I made another appointment for the next day.
I can't remember the woman did my nails, but they came out great! I like a more natural look to my acrylic nails and that's what I got. She was very friendly and gentle. She made sure not to file too much or get polish on my skin, which surprisingly is hard to find. They had pretty amazing nail polish and gel selection. After 13 days I have found, however, that I have some lifting around the edges of a few nails. I don't do activities that are hard on my nails, but I think this is important to note.
My sister had a french manicure and it came out great. She said her technician was also very friendly and gentle. She also mentioned that they used implements from a sterile blister pack. Her nails only saw chipping about 10 days after service.
Overall I enjoyed my time here. I think they are reasonably priced (check out their website for prices, but I'd call to make sure). I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. This place is quite far from my home, but I'll drive as far as I have to for great service.
