| - I am so upset that I don't even feel like writing this review because I hate thinking about what Lisa did to my hair - but for the sake of others, I will put my review out there in hopes to save someone from the trouble and devastation I was forced to go through as a result of visiting this salon.
Lisa cut and colored my hair. The cut was extremely disappointing and NOT at all what I asked for - I don't know what happened! I told her I was growing my already long hair, and all I wanted her to do was to trim the ends a little (I stressed on "trim the ends a little keeping the length and shape"), and I also explained I have fine hair and don't want any layers in it. I also explained to her that I was using some high-end Bumble and Bumble products to thicken my hair to give it more texture and volume.
Instead of doing what I asked for, she cut a lot from the left side of my hair making it VERY short in the front and uneven (left side much shorter than right side and left side way too short for overall hair length), and she thinned out my hair all around with thinning scissors creating weird layers all over it. Overall, my hair looked way shorter on the left, thinned out all across and incredibly uneven - see pictures below from when I went to get it fixed by another hairdresser who was literally shocked by what he saw! These pictures show Lisa's work BEFORE the other hairdresser began fixing my hair. I had him take these pictures so I can post them online for people to see what Lisa did to my hair. Take a look at the left side! Why is it SO short and then suddenly goes long??! Incredibly short and uneven. And the little length that she left in it, she then thinned out - so now there is a weird long piece on the left with no thickness and volume just hanging there. What happened/why did she do that? I had beautiful long and even hair before Lisa got to it. I am so upset that words can hardly describe it. Years of growing my hair and paying for high-end hair products - all of my hard work gone in a matter of minutes! Now I have to wait a few more years for my hair to grow again, and obviously, I will never sit in Lisa's chair again or let her touch my hair.
I know that nothing can give me my beautiful long hair back and writing this review won't accomplish that purpose either, but at least I can share my experience which may give me some limited comfort.
P.S. I saw the below comment from the salon to my review and I am posting my response to it here: The salon's comment simply adds insult to injury. Prior to coming to Lisa, my hair was not uneven - what you said in your comment is incorrect. I also did not change my mind in any way at any point while I was there. I told her from the start I just wanted her to trim the ends (please refer to my review above). Lisa cut my hair unevenly and way too short on the left and also thinned out and put holes in my hair as you can see on the back. Of course you are going to say that I came in that way, which could not be further from the truth. I have absolutely no reason to write her a negative review unless it was 100% true. I am not asking for free services (nor will I ever accept any services from this salon again), nor am I seeking a refund (a refund won't get me my hair back). I want absolutely nothing from you or your salon. I just want to share my review of my experience at the salon.
