This company puts crippled planes in the air with no semblance of procedure in event of an emergency landing.
10am LAS to BUR departure pushed to 11:45 due to mechanical issues. Then shuttle over to airport, where we drove around apparently looking for our plane, then luggage was loaded then unloaded on one plane--waited hours on the bus with only information that the plane still needed power and fuel--a red flag. Then over to a second plane and we eventually boarded. Took off 4 hours late. Ascent and cruising was bumpy, uneven, and nauseating, with multiple strange mechanical noises--landing gear then re-lowered. Then made several turns over the next half hr, realized we were suddenly way too low--as we descended quickly to make a hard emergency landing and find we were back where we started. Zero communication from pilots or crew during this time. Landed traumatized, and waited about another hour before we were back at the office to be sent over to a real airline for a flight more than 12 hrs after our original.
Entire process included minimal communication from staff, with zero urgency, in 100+ deg heat.
Round trip: LAS to LAS--no stars. No drink service.
