Imagine being in a 2nd floor condo with your children, your dog, your sick family member. It's been hot outside- 117. In fact, it was record breaking heat. It's evening now, but it's still hot. Hotter than Kenya,Africa, where the high was 72 degrees today. Your a/c has broken. Who ya gonna call????? NOT L & S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If this company could have no stars, that's what I would give it. Office people are less than compassionate! Assigned this company by First American Homeowner's Warranty Co. on Tuesday evening. First Am.: Ditch this loser company. When it's 117 and my tenant's a/c breaks, and I call L and S about scheduling an appt.- I get a recording. I e-mail Erica, the person I am supposed to contact. I hear nothing back. I wait till the next morning b/c they are closed in the evening, when I call them the night before. My tenant calls in the a.m.. She gets a recording. I call...finally get through. First,Erica is somewhere, but not there. The distracted sounding office person who sounds only physically present, tells me they've scheduled all the calls. THEN, when I question that response, she tells me they are working on scheduling. No one can possibly get out there till maybe Saturday at the earliest. SATURDAY???????????? Today is Wednesday. It's supposed to be 114 degrees today. Highs of 11 to 113 through Saturday. There are children ,a pet, and a sick person residing on the premises. The B**** on the other end at L and S doesn't care. Sounds bored, has an "it sucks to be you" attitude. Sounds like she's busy filing her nails and checking her FB account. So sorry to interrupt you at work, honey! It's not like you get paid to be there, I guess. L and S, I will continue to bad mouth you whenever possible - you deserve it. Called First Am. back- THEY could not believe L and S's crap attitude about this repair. Job was reassigned to a different company. Hopefully, that company cares more about customer satisfaction and is more compassionate to the suffering of others than the employees and possibly, the owner, of L and S. First American, you need to get rid of this company on your vendor list. Your vendors ultimately make or break YOUR reputation. This company is not going to help you in having a positive reputation as a home warranty service company.
