I wish I read the reviews before I started my services and my contract with ADT. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING WITH ADT. I purchased this system for my rental property and I thought that just because they are really expensive that they are the best, it turns out that there are the worst. A piece of malfunctioning equipment was installed into my house and The alarm started going off around 6 AM which woke up my renters they were calling me and really harshly complaining to me about the sound. Immediately I called ADT and they were "so nice"to schedule me appointment with four hour window 8 AM to 12 PM. I said the people are freaking out right now it's 6 o'clock in the morning and they can't do anything in the house because of the horrible noise that can't be stopped. Somebody showed up at 10:30 AM. and supposedly fix the issue. After a couple of hours alarm started going off again, and as it turns out it was another piece of bad equipment that they installed into my house. I had to end up refunding my guest for the time of their staying because of this issue. Nobody from the customer service was understanding what we are going through. Nobody offered anything and at the end I was offered to be refunded for the month of January which is $47. I was kind of disappointed but I accepted $47. February 1 I was charged for the month of January anyway and when I called the customer service billing department they said that they can refund me only for one day that my alarm was going off. Are you kidding me I just refunded my guest thousands of dollars for their inconvenience and you were offering me less than two dollars refund for the same inconvenience that you created. I just want out of this company, this is the biggest shame I ever experienced. This is not my only review and it's not going to be the last one. If I can save somebody else from going through the bad experience that I went through I will continue writing.
