| - This place was a total disappointment from the water served in plastic cups to the server telling me a side salad was a Caesar salad. My bad, I had never been there so I thought Lure (great name) was going to like a Legal Seafood. Nope. It's another Sports bar with TVs everywhere enough to distract even the best storyteller. The water was served in plastic cups, we were charged for extra chips which we had to wait for until the dip turned solid and cold. We were not offered glasses for our beers and the mixed drinks were overpriced. On to the food....my table mate was charged for a side to her dinner, the jimbalaya had too much tomato, the ahi was cooked not seared, and the appetizer crab cakes were mushy dollops of cold crabby stuff. I ordered a side Caesar salad which finally came after we were all finished with our meals and it was a salad with iceburg, tomato, shredded bagged cheese and bacon bits with some
Romano Italian bottled dressing on the side. All three of us told the server that this was not a Caesar salad and she proceeded to argue that yes it was. This being an oyster bar, my husband ordered oysters, and he enjoyed them(hence the one star) but our inept server did not know anything about oysters, or for that matter salads, sides, how to split a check, or bring out a tables' meal all at once. Good thing we were with friends, otherwise the night would have been a total waste .
